I removed a tree and now my hosta plants next to my house are getting leaf burns either because of the extra sun or heat.
I get full sun there now from around 11:00 until 1:00 (worst part of the day) It's too much for my hosta but not enough for the full sun plants that I know about.
How would coreposis do there? I'd like something that grows between 18-24 inches tall and is a hardy perinial.
Thanks for the help.

Hostas are shade plants that would not grow as well in the full sun. Coreopsis likes the full sun so it maybe ideal for your site, however, some species may grow taller than 24 inches. Ask your dealer for specifications.

You can try planting Monarda or Bergamot varieties. They grow in full sun and bear fragrant colorful flowers. They make beautiful border plants.
