Since scariffying my lawn and treating it with Arthur Bowers lawn sand, followed by Evergreen Aftercut and over seeding, I have noticed over the lawn some 'hard' or wild grass growing through.

Could this be as a result of some stray seed in the over seeding ?

Can anyone let me know if there is anyway of getting rid of this grass as it grows back at a faster rate than the lawn and spoils the look of the lawn ?
