I have an Evergreen Drop Spreader that I want to use to re-seed my lawn using Evergreen Multipurpose grass seed at a rate of 25 grams per square metre as recommended by Evergreen on their website. I have checked their settings for the spreader but they only show a setting of 35 grams per square metre, presumably this is for a new lawn. Can anyone tell me please what the setting should be for 25 grams.

ornamental seed 20g/m2 setting 11 ... 35g/m2 setting 18
utilty grass seed 20g/m2 setting 9.5 ... 35g/m2 setting 14

We haven't done trails for 25g/m2 but you can use the above as a guide.

When over seeding an existing lawn using a utility grass seed (such as Evergreen MultiPurpose Grass Seed) we reccomend setting 11.
