ENCAP's Fast Acting Lawn Starter Seeding Mulch Kit does not contain grass seed, please be sure that you are adding your own grass seed when using this product to repair bare spots.

ENCAP products are safe to use around pets, however when the product is activated by moisture it will become slippery. We suggest trying to keep pets off a new application as much as possible, as the product will hold in place better with the least amount of traffic. If a small amount of the product is ingested it will not be harmful, however we suggest keeping an eye on your dog to ensure that it is not eating a large amount as then a trip to a veterinarian would be necessary.
