So my lawn is the last one to green up in the spring and the first one to go brown in the fall. During the summer it is beautiful. I've also noticed that I have a grub problem. Is it the grubs that gives our lawn such a short life? I had always thought that it was just the kind of grass we have, but now with the grubs I'm not so sure. How can I get rid of them?

I found these two helpful sites about grubs and how to get rid/control them.

I hope these articles could help you.

I'm not sure if we've had grub problems in the past or not.
I have noticed small patches fairly close together where the grass has died that are a few centimeters long. Do you think that sounds like the work of grubs?

I found what seems almost a miracle solution. It got rid of my grubs and the accompanying moles almost immediately. I ordered "predator nematodes" from an online site. They are microscopic organisms (1,000,000 on a 1" square sponge) that you apply you your lawn via mixing them with water. They attack the grubs. I couldn't recommend it more for dealing with grubs.
