I'd like to keep my lawn as green in summer as it is in spring, to add "coolness" in the summer warm atmosphere. How can I do that without wasting too much precious water?

ENCAP offers some really great products that can help you keep that beautiful green lawn all summer.  For example, our Fast Acting Iron, helps to give you a quick green up without the excess mowing you would get from addition of a fertilizer.  Another excellent product is our Fast Acting Gypsum, this product adds much needed Calcium and Sulfur to your soil, but also helps to soften your soil creating a soil environment that allows your grass to deepen the roots and deepening your turf roots allows them to reach much needed moisture to keep them greener longer into the warm summer months.

Thank you and Happy Gardening! ~ Sarah

These products would be very helpful. Are these available in the market or it is exclusively distributed by ENCAP? How can I avail all of these? I would appreciate some information and details.

You can also use waste water from the washing machine to water your lawn during summer months. That would save you some water bills.

You might consider setting your mower cut height to a higher setting for the hot summer months. Allow your grass to grow to 3 or 4 inches before cutting. This will help the roots grow deeper, and make your lawn more resistant to draught.

This could be a good idea, we would able to conserve water. The waste water from the washing machine contains detergent residue, isn't it harmful to the grass?
