Mama Bear,

What is the location you are planting in, as grass seed will be dependent on soil type and climate as well.

It's either sunny and hot or rainy and wet in our country. I don't like bermuda grass because it clusters like crazy and I don't like sitting on bermuda grass cuz it goes through my clothes and irritates the skin.

Mama Bear,

I did a little research and came up with the following alternatives:

St. Augustine, Buffalo Grass, and Centipede Grass appear to be viable alternatives.

These are all warm season grasses like Bermuda grass.  However,I should have also asked what country you are in?

I like the following website for variety information, please look at the warm season grasses section!

http://www.american-lawns.com/grasses/grasses.html

Please let us know if you find a sutiable alternative!

Thank you for the link, SarahV. I think I'll go for the buffalo grass for my lawn.
