Hi all.
Got a call to quote a tidy up a property this week and thought I you guys might be able to give me some ideas as how to tackle it.
Its not your average backyard clean up. It is a waterside property with the house by the water and thick scrub back to the road, guess at least 30 - 40m , which is good as overgrown weeds in bush land, as beside the block is bushland.
The only way in by the looks are stone stairs, which are also overgrown. The roadway to the site must be at least a 5m drop. There is no driveway access at all. So getting the waste out is going to be a problem.
I did take some photos on my phone, but cannot load to pc at the moment to put them up. Might go back and take some with actual camera and put them up.
I know its hard to give suggestions when you cannot see the site, but any ideas would be good.

Big jobs like that are hard to quote on. It all comes down to how much the client will pay. I know of guy's that have hired a crane to get their equipment into jobs and the client was happy to pay. If there is trees on the block that have to come down check that the local Council will allow then to be removed or otherwise you can face hefty fines for cutting them down without the Council approval.
It might come down to getting 5 or 6 guy's in there with brush cutters cutting it down and mulching it up before you start to clean it up.
Time is also a consideration. What is the time frame that the client want's the job completed in? The longer it takes you the more it is going to cost you and the more you will have to charge.
If the job looks too big for you and your current equipment then I would think long and hard about tackling such a job because there can be a lot of hidden costs that will crop up once you start.
Good luck, I hope this helps a bit
