A significant problem associated with the application of fertilizers to lawns and gardens is the loss of fertilizer to run off and leaching. Today many lake communities are enacting environmental restrictions regarding fertilizer usage. In response ENCAP® developed RETAIN™, an innovative new product designed to hold fertilizers and nutrients in place utilizing the power of a soil control agent called Movement Control TechnologyTM (MCT™). MCT™ works by reaching into the micro world and engaging the soil to become part of the solution. RETAIN™ also includes AST™ which acts as an enabler to stabilize soil aggregates and to improve bonding. Using RETAIN™ with MCT™ is like throwing an “invisible net” over a lawn, helping to keep the valuable nutrients in place.
